Refund Policy
At the International University of Vedic Wellness (IUVW), we strive to provide high-quality educational services to our students. We understand that circumstances may arise that require students to withdraw from courses or programs. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted.
1. Tuition Fees
1.1 Tuition fees are refundable according to the following schedule:
– 100% refund if the student withdraws before the start of the academic term.
– 80% refund if the student withdraws within the first two weeks of the academic term.
– 50% refund if the student withdraws within the first four weeks of the academic term.
– No refund if the student withdraws after the fourth week of the academic term.
1.2 Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving a written request for withdrawal.
2. Non-Refundable Fees
2.1 Application fees, registration fees, and other administrative fees are non-refundable.
2.2 Fees for course materials, textbooks, and supplies are non-refundable once distributed to the student.
3. Withdrawal Process
3.1 To be eligible for a refund, students must officially withdraw from courses or programs by submitting a written request to the Office of the Registrar/Admission Officer.
3.2 The date of withdrawal will be determined by the date the written request is received by the Office of the Registrar/Admission Officer.
3.3 Failure to attend classes or verbal notification to faculty or staff does not constitute official withdrawal.
4. Refund Exceptions
4.1 In the event that IUVW cancels a course or program, students will be entitled to a full refund of tuition fees.
4.2 If a student is dismissed from the university for disciplinary reasons, they may not be eligible for a refund.
4.3 Refunds for extenuating circumstances, such as serious illness or family emergency, will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation may be required.
5. Financial Aid and Scholarships
5.1 Refunds for students receiving financial aid or scholarships will be handled in accordance with the terms and conditions of the specific aid or scholarship program.
5.2 In some cases, a portion of the refund may be returned to the funding source as required by law or agreement.
6. Third-Party Payments
If tuition fees were paid by a third party, such as an employer or sponsor, refunds will be issued to the third party in accordance with their specific refund policies
7. Disputes and Appeals
If a student believes that they are entitled to a refund that has not been granted, they may appeal the decision in writing to the Office of the Registrar/Admission Officer
The decision of the Registrar/Admission Officer will be final.
8. Changes to the Refund Policy
IUVW reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Students will be notified of any changes via email and through the university website.
